Staying here for a short getaway to explore the local art scene was a pleasure. I enjoyed the warm atmosphere created by the lovely hosts and the chance to connect with other guests around the big dining table during breakfast. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, and having fresh fruit and delicious homemade pastries made mornings delightful. It’s just a short walk to the Newlyn Art Gallery and the charming streets of Penzance, making it easy to enjoy the surroundings.

This place rocks for breakfast—homemade banana bread and a full English that’ll put a smile on any face. The dining room's atmosphere is great, allowing you to bond with other guests over a meal, not just your personal space.
Street parking can become an inconvenience, as there’s no dedicated lot, and finding the place initially feels like a game of hide and seek. The stairs can be a bit tricky, especially if you're lugging around heavy luggage or if you’re not super spry. the shower pressure isn’t always consistent—sometimes it’s perfect, other times it’s a bit weaker, which can be disappointing.

The decor was beautiful, but awkward stairs made it hard to carry luggage.

Exquisite Victorian architecture, charming garden views, clean and nicely decorated rooms
No on-site parking!!! Some small room issues make it difficult to find space for personal items. Inconsistent shower pressure can disrupt your comfort. Consider improving the kettle operation to avoid spills!!!

The hospitality from the hosts was outstanding, providing personalized recommendations for local dining that made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring homemade treats like brownie and banana bread that exceeded expectations in both presentation and taste. While the room was comfortable, the limited parking options presented some inconvenience, and a few minor maintenance issues could be addressed for a more seamless experience.

Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast
We enjoyed our stay, particularly the beautiful breakfast that energized our mornings. The check-in process was smooth, and our Superior Double Room was spacious and clean. For future guests, a fan would enhance comfort, and understanding the kettle could make tea time less awkward.
